Queen-of-the-Green
Natalia Wilhelm is a whimsical being of light who is originally from guelph, ontario. After losing part of her brain fluid from brain swelling caused by ecstacy, she started running and the sound of her footsteps inspired her to start rapping. It’s been almost 2 years now, and Natalia has created many pieces of art, painted, written, sung and rapped. She is currently working on a dubstep/ old school hiphop infusion of a musical called “Chronicles:The blunt truth” . Natalia’s music is driven to inspire concious hiphop and healing through humour. Half latin and half swiss, this lady has lived in over 7 cities throughout Canada and the Us, and has travelled most of her life. With good intentions, she continues her quest of love and healing through optimistic infusions of art.

Babe Lloyd
“This guy wrote a bunch of songs in the late ’90s and early ’00s because he loved music so much that he just had to write some stuff of his own. His favourite kinds of music are metal, grunge, triphop, and electronic dance music. Of course, he didn’t have any money to buy the necessary equipment to make music like that because he blew all of his money on CDs of other people’s music. Also, he had long hair and a beard. So he basically had no choice but to write solo songs on a crappy acoustic guitar. Also, he has two university degrees in Comparative Literature and almost no music training. As a result, he’s more of a brainiac word-nerd grammar-geek than a musician, so his songs turned out to be lyrically-oriented occasionally-humorous satirical acoustic punk-type songs than dazzling displays of virtuoso flamenco mastery.
Because he plays acoustic guitar and has the aforementioned pattern of hair growth, most people think he loves folk music and smokes the electric lettuce. Neither of these are true of him. He does, however, enjoy watching the occasional CFL game.
Topics he tackled in his songs included how crappy mainstream music is and sex.”

Agent Orange (Van)

http://soundcloud.com/agent-orange-1
Designed by a team of musically inclined mad scientists, Agent Orange is a prototype funk weaponry system developed using a hybrid genetic strain of glitched out tendencies, crunky chromosomes and grimey basslines. His first missions had him deployed in the trenches of the drum & bass / jungle division but upgrades to his musical memory system soon expanded his sonic repertoire. The Agent’s skills now cover the full spectrum of sound anywhere in the 80-180 BPM range during any given assignment. A unique ability to recreate his genetic material musically has put him back in the lab from which he came but now at the helm of the controls and the resulting productions, remixes and mashups have been integrated into the Agent’s funk assault systems. His elite skills have been recruited for missions with a variety of the worlds top operatives such as Z-Trip, Krafty Kuts, The Rub, Deekline and Wizard, DJ Assault, Freq Nasty, Ghislain Poirier, ShyFX, Top Cat, Stanton Warriors, edIT, Mat the Alien and Bassnectar. His most recent missions have Agent Orange and his full audio arsenal scheduled to infiltrate Calgary and Vancouver to destroy the dance floor and blow minds!

……The Protege & in A home Entertainment PRESENT:
LongWalkShortDock
Longwalkshortdock essentially started the first time Dave King heard gritty electronic music in early eighties videogames. Strongly influenced by these sounds and melodys, Dave started recording and looping segments as a child. He also got a taste for sampling and recording; taping segments of his piano practice to fool his parents into thinking he was practicing in the other room when he was really playing nintendo (note : actually practicing might have served me better). Currently, a veteran of sound design and electronic music production for well over a decade, Longwalkshortdock’s music has stepped into a genre of its own. Heavily influnced by early 80s video game music, metal and rock music, found-sound and vintage analog synthesis, he stacks layers of melody in his tracks until they implode and reform. Heavy drums and aggressive synths join forces with rolling grooves and melodic lead lines to create a wide variety of slamming dance floor originals. Lesser known fact : Not limited to dance music, LWSD’s music crosses into many territories. His vast catalogue of hundreds of songs dives into ambient, IDM, electro, acid, house, big beat, indie rock, drones, electronica and down tempo. Dave holds two degrees from the Art Institute of Burnaby for Music Recording and Production. Playing songs and remixes he wrote and produced, longwalkshortdock performs live PA with live vocals, synthesizers, drum machines, guitar, effects, toys, computers and even some of his own strobes and lighting. Know for his incredibly “enthusiastic” performances, longwalkshortdock creates an undeniable stage presence and visceral experience at a show. Longwalkshortdock has performed live with the likes of Phil Western (Download, Skinny Puppy, Kone) and opened for talented artists like, MSTRKRFT, Junkie XL, Vibesquad, Alex Patterson (The Orb), Mimosa, Adam Freeland, Shout out out out out and Matt the Alien. Always working to enhance and upgrade the LWSD live experience Dave is currently in the process of collaborating with veteran of visual wizardry Tim Hill of RIM Visuals. Longwalkshortdocks debut self-released record, “Casual Tea” is out now would love to hear from you if you would like one. Final point of note : Did you know they found him in a cave on the moon? That’s what i heard…

Mistress Mangladesh
(Trancecore/Gomp/inAhome)
http://soundcloud.com/mistress-mangladesh/11-hits-of-mangladesh
This philharmonic technotronic mistress has been putting love into the decks and the underground community since 05. She began by seeding her roots deep into Minimal and branching outwards to Techno, house, and more. This ridonkulous entourage entices her dance floor to sink their teeth into the musical steak before them.. Thus this scorpion’s love of intricate percussion, experimental, funk and anything dirty make her a versatile flavor to be reckoned with. Having played at such festivals as Motion Notion, North Country Fair and Astral Harvest, this girl has a keen passion for record digging so fine, its hard to match anyone to her style. Mangladesh will make you feel the rhythmic vibrations of the earth and leave you craving for more dirty bass in your face! Mmmmm..yummy!
JayWho (Trancecore)
A lover of music since birth, Jason started DJ’ing parties for his friends as a teenager, armed with a pair of speakers and a 5-disc CD changer.
In 2002, after spending a night in the DJ booth during the last night of Therapy (later to become Y Afterhours), he decided to try his hand at spinning vinyl.
6 years later, JayWho has expanded from Trance and Techno, to House, Electro, Breaks, Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop and just about anything else that comes his way. Always striving to learn more, whether it be beat juggling, scratching or perfecting the finer details of a mix, JayWho has proven that behind the music is where he is meant to be.
Opaque
Opaque has put a lot of time and energy into finding the deadliest grooves and funkiest percussion and this DJ and indie producer has the recipe for destruction in the form of gems from his record collection. Strong influences of punk rock and industrial shapes his own unique and fresh style of breaks, techno, jackin’ house, minimal house, and electro-tech. His signature sound will always keep the dance floor sweating, shaking, and wanting more…
Soundfactor
Introduced to the scene in 2005 he quickly realized potential in the local party scene and wonders it has within it. Helping out whenever he could he picked up DJing with the interest gained from a internet radio station called Ravetrax.com. Bringing back the oldskool style tunes of Speed Garage, 4×4, and bassline with a 21st century feel incorporating dubstep and breaks. This is a sure dance floor music to get your feet moving.
Swensonic
My style would best be described as everything. For I believe that from the beginning there has been good music, and it is my duty as a professional to find and deliver that music as best as I can. Whether it be mashing up old favorites, or FX crushing new classics, the goal is still the same; Have fun, and the rest will follow. I consider a job done well, when a wave of smiles contagiously crosses the dance floor. My mentor once told me: “Stop playing what you think people want to hear, and play what makes you happy!!” Believe it, that piece of advice undoubtedly has landed me where I am today.

Jordan (Jord) and Ryan (Relentless) have been DJing Psychedelic Trance since 2001 and are two of the pioneering members of the Techno Hippy Crew. A Motion Notion and Astral Harvest headliner, these two have also opened for acts such as Shadow FX, Sensient, Infected Mushroom, Nystagmus, Nokturnal and Chris Organix. Jordan and Ryan play a variety of psychedelic beats which range from rare and dark progressive to funky full-on. WAV Occupation’s dynamic and provocative psychedelic sounds should continue to promote spiritual dendrite growth into the next wave of human ravevolution.
Archetype
(Rf Crew / Ded End)
soundcloud.com/archetype
Archetype has had electronic music in his blood since day one. After receiving a pair of vinyl turntables and a mixer at the age of 12 its been nonstop study of music for him.. Leading to a strong passion for funky atomic breakbeats, twisted hi-NRG fidget, forward-thinking drum and bass, and dubstep. In the year 2008 Archetype got into writing music of all kinds, known for programming synth-defying basslines that would be considered ‘cutting-edge’ compared to todays current music. From Light To Dark, Funky To Sick, Archetype aims to uplift.
Remo de Janeiro
(Edmonton, AB)
Attracted to bright lights and loud noises, Remo got his funkin start in Edmonton’s club and Rave Community in the mid 90′s. Before becoming a DJ, Remo was there to dance! Often the first one on and the last one off the floor, some of Remo’s favourite DJs included Deko-ze, Tryptomene, Cory Payne, Dragan, Nicky Delgado, Junior Brown,, Celcius, Dr J., Spilt Milk, Ariel & Roel, Waylon Sherrington, Tripswitch, Lori the Hi Fi Princess, and Andy Pockett. Party animal and a natural networker, Remo co-founded cheeky production company UNIT-E. Filling E-Towns dance floors from 95-98, Unit-E put on a slew of successful Raves and themed club parties. After Unit-E disbanded, Remo purchased his first pair of 1200s and hasn’t looked back. Remo’s style evolving from Hard/Acid Techno to funky, deep and soulful house was less gradual than one might expect. After Housing Edmonton for more than a decade Remo has emerged as one of Edmonton’s most popular and hardest-working DJs. Whether you’re tapping your feet in the lounge, shaking your booty on a dance floor or just tripping balls at a festival Remo’s sound will move you.

……The Protege & in A home Entertainment PRESENT:
Zodiac Cartel aka Elite Force
Our ethos is simple. – ‘Jackin’ House Music With A Techno Soul’.
It was early 2007 when the mysterious Zodiac Cartel burst onto the
scene, with the shredding ‘Devil’s Music’ on Lot49, and the massive
selling remix of Elite Force’s ‘Used & Abused’ on U&A Recordings. Both
tracks sold in large quantities and immediately installed the Cartel as
one of the ‘go-to’ producers in the ‘warehouse’ field, with supporters
such as Moby, James Zabiela, Crookers, Kissy Sellout & Sasha amongst
the many A-listers supporting his prodigious career to date.
“Zodiac Cartel is so far ahead of most of the other producers
pushing the warehouse sound it’s almost embarrasing!”
[iDJ magazine]
The Cartel has owned 2009 with a serious spell of studio time, during
which he secured three further single releases, with the aggro-latinostreet-
sounds of summer-anthem, ‘We Don’t Play That’, the peaktime
raveathon, ‘Beyond The Dancefloor’ (Lee Mortimer’s ‘Wearhouse Music’)
and finishing up the year with ‘Stay On Top’ (U&A December 2009),
surely set to become the largest tune yet from ZC.
A broad & diverse remix portfolio have included massive remakes for
Franz Ferdinand, Santogold, Fukkk Off, DJ Dan & Lee Mortimer. Whilst
he is best known for the floor-filling & anthemic side of things, he’s also
displayed greater range than most in taking it deep & druggy (remixes
such as Butter Party – Wriggle (Dark & Deep Mix), Harvey Mackay –

About NAPT – Double award winners 2010
BIOGRAPHY
NAPT, aka Ashley Pope and Tomek Naden, are a multi-award winning British electronic dance music production and DJ duo whose popularity has rocketed in the last 2 years. Their self coined N-Funk sound is a heady concoction of breakbeat, electro and house spawned from the UK underground and informed by a keen ear for the tasteful end of the commercial spectrum.
NAPT’s first releases were remixes for major label artists Lumidee and Jon Cutler. NAPT then went on to release a slew of chart topping and critically acclaimed tracks on a host of labels including the award winning Funkatech Records, Sony Records, Fingerlickin Records and more, which have been consistently played on Radio 1, Kiss FM, Triple J etc and featured in major online and offline press including DJ Mag, iDJ, Mixmag, inthemix etc; from the top selling and award winning singles “Gotta Have More Cowbell” and “Make My Day” which have to date racked up over 15,000 sales, to remixes and collaborations with electro-pop act Kish Mauve (Kylie Minogue fame), Mercury Prize nominee MJ Cole, Dubstep luminary G-Double from Anti-Social crew, British drum and bass MC Skibadee, UK soul legend Mica Paris and rising UK Urban star Ashley “Bashy” Thomas.
In 2009 NAPT picked up a highly esteemed award from Beatport.com for their remix of Slyde’s “Frequency,” followed by wins for Best Producer, Best Track and Best Remix at Breakspoll. In 2010 they repeated their wins for Best Producer and Best Track at Breakspoll – the first time in the history of the awards that the Best Producer and Best Track categories had been won by the same artist in successive years.
As DJ’s NAPT have headlined and performed shows all over the world, from Fabric in London, Glastonbury Festival Somerset to Ambar in Perth the N-Funk continuously infiltrates many a dance floor. NAPT also pioneered the online mix tape with 3 highly successful mix series to date, the latest “Live In The Mix” gaining well over 40,000 downloads.
Successfully traversing a multitude of genres the NAPT N-Funk sound refuses to be boxed in with their innovative, mutated, high sheen productions rocking the most discerning of dance floors.
The future seems ever bright for the new heroes of the dance.

Smokey Bandits
(Techno Hippy Crew | Astral Harvest | Renegade Bass)

This high energy duo always has a few tricks up their sleaves so expect something new from them every time they hit the decks.
